Kristy is a graduate from the UMKC School of Law.

She created Borders Law Firm, LLC in 2019.

Before becoming an attorney, Kristy had a career as a Private Investigator and Process Server.

Her extensive experience with investigating means that she will look into areas other attorneys may miss.

Currently, Kristy focuses her attorney skills representing disabled individuals. She also continues to perform mediations, family law, divorce, child custody, landlord tenant litigation, and criminal defense. Previously, she spent many years as a guardian ad litem.
